What is agreed
Parent sessions can involve exploring the family situation, discussing a useful approach, rehearsing it and reviewing what happened at home. We confirm what is included in the booked appointment.
If a full consultation is recommended and booked, a behaviour assessment may be completed and an intervention report may form part of that consultation, depending on your family's needs and the agreed scope. These are not automatically included in the $40 intake review or 20-minute telephone call. Additional assessment or report work and any extra fee are discussed before proceeding.

Joining the waitlist does not require payment and does not guarantee a place or appointment.
The $40 intake fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee for review and the 20-minute telephone consultation. It is separate from every $170 consultation. Payment does not automatically book the telephone call or guarantee acceptance into ongoing care.

Materials and access
Your clinician explains the selected materials, portal access arrangements and any additional charges before that work is agreed. The $170 price is a session fee, not a purchase price for the full resource library.
Ask which parent guides, workbook pages, Fridge Cards or child materials will support your current focus. Your clinician will also explain how you will receive them, how long portal access is available and the arrangements for contact between sessions.

We review suitable existing information. Where additional assessment is needed, its purpose, appointments and fees are agreed first.
An intervention report may form part of a later full consultation where appropriate and agreed. Extended reports or work beyond that consultation are separately scoped and priced before proceeding.
We agree the recipient, consent, scope and any fees before communication or written recommendations.
Insurance and funding
The parent or caregiver is the primary client in ongoing parenting sessions. Do not assume that a child's benefits cover the parent's appointments.
Ask the clinic for the service description and provider details, then confirm eligibility and any prior-approval requirements with the insurer or funder. Coverage is not guaranteed by a provider logo or by completing intake.

No. It enters the intake and waitlist process. Suitability, availability and appointment details are confirmed separately.
The number and frequency are individual. We discuss the next step and review it with you rather than requiring a fixed course.
Confirm the session arrangements, fees and cancellation terms with the clinic before booking.
No. Resources are selected during care. A request does not create an account, assign a strategy or release every workbook.
A manageable family caseload
We support up to 5 active families per monthly cycle. This protects time for preparation, trying strategies between consultations and reviewing what fits. You do not have to demonstrate perfect follow-through: barriers and adaptations are part of the conversation.
Registration stays open while a family place is available. Once all five places are occupied, new requests go to the waitlist. Continuing families retain their places; a new calendar month does not automatically add five more families or end anyone’s care. Consultation frequency, next steps and any start date are discussed individually.
