Appointments focus on the work agreed with your clinician. We confirm availability, suitability and appointment arrangements before booking.
Assessment at the beginning
We review an existing assessment when available. If a suitable assessment is not available, assessment work helps map your child’s strengths and areas needing support.
We clarify the proposed scope, number of appointments, and applicable fees before assessment work begins. A complete assessment or diagnostic report is not advertised as included in one $170 session.

Explore situations, practise selected approaches, and adapt them to your family.

Discuss what happened at home and decide what to keep or change.
Insurance and funding
If you plan to use insurance or a funding program, ask the clinic to clarify the service, provider details, and any approval requirements before booking. Coverage for this parenting service must be confirmed individually.
The parent or caregiver is the primary client in ongoing sessions. We clarify the service and billing arrangements rather than assuming that a child’s benefits cover the parent’s appointments.

Is there a fixed package?
The service is individualized. We discuss the recommended next step and review arrangements with you.
Are additional reports or school discussions included?
Any school liaison, written recommendations, or other additional work is discussed and agreed beforehand, including any applicable fees.
Does joining the waitlist book an appointment?
No. A request joins the intake process; it does not confirm an appointment or start date.
When will I receive booking terms?
Confirm the session arrangements, fees, and cancellation terms with the clinic before booking.
